The selection of leather is the most delicate phase. The raw leathers are selected, carefully selected and followed in the various steps of processing up to the particular dyeing process. The skin will have to get to the next stage in the full of its softness and shine.
The cutting of the leathers is done by hand on the ancient wooden benches, thanks to the use of a precision line and sartorial scissors. The shearer is therefore a fundamental figure in the production cycle.
It’s the one called "smasso" that gives the glove the right fit. The glove is pulled, an operation that shows the dexterity and ritual gestures of those who carry out this craft.
In the cutting phase, the glove is "split" under manual presses on the original templates, that is on the shapes corresponding to a certain size and model. The glove literally begins to come to life.
It is the phase in which you choose the model and style and in which you give space to the imagination of a team full of inventiveness, dedicated to the choice of the right accessory or a particular embroidery to be affixed to the glove. The base is the design executed by the designer, who proposes a choice of colors and harnesses in step with the times.
The glove acquires its real appearance in the sewing phase. During this step, extreme care and precision are required to make a quality product.
